ecolearn intends to categorize product data of construction materials in the infobase with the UniversalTypes of buildingSMART International and ProMaterial, among others. For this purpose, ecolearn has access to manufacturer data directly from the ProMaterial technology network for the construction industry.
In the ecolearn infobase, suitable building products, services and media can be published centrally and intelligently networked so that daily work is more efficient. Anyone can use the infobase to quickly and purposefully offer and find reliable, transparent information and to contact project partners in a targeted manner. The intelligent networking saves research time and thus enables quick access to current specialist topics.
In order to enable manufacturers to make their building products available to other target groups, such as specialist planners, architects and tradesmen, at no extra cost, ecolearn has created a technical solution for integrating data from the ProMaterial network. Essential product information, article texts, product images, data sheets, declarations of performance and more will then be available in high quality. In the ProMaterial Network, products are uniformly described and categorized by an international industry standard - the UniversalTypes of buildingSMART International.
